Our Nurse Practitioners
A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse with advanced training. Nurse practitioners diagnose and treat both acute and chronic conditions within their scope of practice. They work in partnership with physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers.

The residents are doctors who have obtained a medical degree, but are still completing a two-year training program in order to become a fully licensed family doctor. They are always supervised by an experienced doctor. Residents manage a practice of patients, and provide urgent coverage for other FMTU resident doctors.
